Jim Southcott is the Chief Strategic Officer of communications agency TBWA\Vancouver. Jim has worked on growth strategies for a diverse set of brands including Telus, Shaw, Vancity, Movie Central, Rogers Wireless, Direct Energy, Navigata Communicatiosn, HSBC, Group Telecom and BC Lottery Corporation. Jim specializes in building “brand blueprints” for high technology clients to help focus their drive for both customers and investors. Brands include Colligo, QNext, CityDazz, MovieSet™ and NewMediaBC. Jim’s work focuses on identifying and exploiting market “conventions” to create disruptive strategies to expand the brand’ competitve market space.

Jeff Grammer

Jeff Grammer joined Rho Canada in 2006. Jeff has a 25 year background in technology as both entrepreneur and investor. Jeff worked as an entrepreneur at: Chips and Technologies, Summit Systems, Databook, N*Able Technologies, and Ember. Jeff worked as an investor at Techfarm and Sigma Partners. He received an MA in International Economics from Boston University.

Jeff currently serves on the board of HR Alloy, NowPublic, and MovieSet.

Arthur Evrensel

Mr. Evrensel provides legal counsel in entertainment law relating to television and motion picture development, production, financing and distribution. He has extensive experience in structuring the financing and distribution of international television and motion picture treaty co-productions. His practice focuses exclusively on representing producers, investors, broadcasters, financiers, distributors, animation companies and international studios involved in the filmed entertainment industry.

Mr. Evrensel is recognized as one of the country’s top entertainment lawyers in the Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada published by Lexpert/American Lawyer Media and is recognized in Euromoney Legal Media Group’s Guide to the World’s Leading Technology, Media & Telecommunications Lawyers. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Lionsgate Entertainment.

Charles Cook

Charles is responsible for the financial management and capital raising activities of Discovery Capital and its subsidiaries, and will assist in building the company’s relationships with the investment community. Charles brings nine years of investment banking experience in advising private and public companies to Discovery Capital, and will assist Discovery Capital investee companies in structuring financings and in completing acquisition and divestiture transactions. Prior to joining the Company, Charles was a director of Dundee Securities Corporation, providing investment banking services in Alberta and British Columbia, prior to which he worked in a similar role in the Vancouver office of a national investment dealer. As well as being a CMA, he holds a MBA from the University of British Columbia.
