Michael Fergusson

A veteran of the social networking industry, Michael Fergusson is responsible for MovieSet’s marketing and social media strategy. Fergusson came to MovieSet with over 15 years of experience building internet-related products and companies. Prior to joining MovieSet, Fergusson held the role of Chief Products and Innovation Officer at Uniserve Communications, one of Canada’s largest dedicated Internet communications companies. During his tenure at Uniserve, he led the social networking platforms and applications group, Kinzin, which built a network of nearly a million members. Prior to Uniserve, Fergusson was Vice President of Product Strategy at Blast Radius, where he provided his expertise in social networking and XML technology to Blast Radius’ clients, such as Microsoft and Electronic Arts. He was also a finalist for two 2008 Canadian New Media Awards in the Producer of the Year and Excellence in Social Media Applications categories.
